There has been some forum talk, with players asking – which is an RTS (Real Time Strategy) game in a similar style to Evony that I can play too and get further enjoyment?

Suggestions came thick and fast from other online gamers, the first suggesting RuneScape -the online free web game that has been around for seemingly ever. 1100ad is certainly good in some aspects, but is probably suited to younger games – as the overall theme of the game doesn’t weave too deep and might leave experienced gamers a little bored with length of content and outcome.

Surely everyone has seen the advertisements online for this game? They are literally everywhere on the internet.

Based in ancient times, Evony asks the user to build a fortress and expand their lands against real-time, live opponents from around the internet work.

Develop an army, build defences and work your way to the top of the game rankings.

It helps to join an alliance, and there are many. Evony is full of large alliances and an array of gamers only too willing to help you get ahead in the game.

While you can choose to buy game coins (similar to world of warcraft) ultimately, you can play for free continually.

The graphics will impress most players, and they are certainly good for a free browser based game. Players of the Civ series, settlers and other similar offline games will be only too happy with the quality of the graphics.
