Its really interesting the way music has changed, since the 60s and 70s. Back then there were these few iconic bands, listened to by everyone with a progressive attitude, The beatles, CSNY, simon and garfunkel, etc. Nowadays there are like 10 million bands to sift through, which hipsters are all to glad to do, there is no coherence to our scene or generation...good or bad?, Im not real sure yet..

Quite simply superb, the music in this song is quite literally spine tingling, as are the vocals. Brilliant! Music like this leaves the over produced, under developed, often talentless, tripe that passes for popular music nowadays in the dust. Yeah, good music, even great music, is still made today of course it is, but even then this is of another class. There is only one song I prefer to this, and that is Pink Floyd's, Comfortably Numb.

@jiminykrickit um, btw, no it does not hurt him, a dog is a domesticated wolf, all dogs are. with a few thousand years to back it up, but still their animals, as we all are. wolfs howl, and dogs like responding to sounds like this very much the same, if you howl a lot and your dog is vocal it will howl back at you.

my first dog use to say "Mama"... he was al albino boxer, and the reason he said Mama was cause of me, i was a baby when my parents got his, and id scream Mama a lot at night when i wanted my mom (im spanish) and one night my mom heard me saying mama, and she went to see me and i was dead asleep. then she heard it again and she discovered it was the lil white boxer puppy with a brown spot, lol. the he just kinda kept doing that... boxers are weirdly vocal is all.

@bjsh3675 haha... I think that's because all of their studio recordings had such an excess amount of reverb. It annoyed the heck out of me. I much more prefer their live work. Their voices are so good raw, I don't know why they did so much extra stuff in their albums. Like the reverb and a lot of extra instruments. I feel that they'd sound better in all of their albums acoustic ESPECIALLY on the quieter songs like this.

@DAF460 They aren't to bad its just a better balanced engine is more efficient and can be ran to higher rpm's. I tried designing an engine similar to this one just with a different cam setup where there was only 4 lobes and it was a sohc. The cams were supposed to be just as balanced as the rest of the engine. I am going to be an engineer and i will actually get to build these types of things! haha

This is an exact copy of the old aircooled vw beetle engine!, the probem with the design is that all vw engines wear out oval where the crankshaft passes through the casing,this took several years with the petrol engine,can you imagine the stresses involved in a diesel,i think the idea is to lower your tipping point but the engine does not look to have time on its side,the engine will develope major oil leaks and low oil pressure early in its life unless the crankcases are massively beefed up

@TreyMoore92 since there are a lot of blood vessels in the ears, they tend to bleed a lot. Hurts for up to 2 weeks, but boxers also tend to have a high pain tolerance. Even so, i don't think its very nice. It is illegal to crop the ears in quite a few countries

The guys are amazing. Two sound this good 30 years after the original. Simon has stayed in the industry but Garfunkel kind of feel out of sight. His vocals are still dead on. I saw Emmylou & the Nash Ramblers on this tour in'94 at the old Birchmere in Alexandria, VA. It was maybe the best live show I've ever seen & this video almost knocked me out of my chair. Sam Bush is amazing on mandolin and he tears it up on this song. Great singer; great band; great memories of this event. Thanks for posting the song.
