As the old dude in the movie stated, "Computers finally understand their code and then burn themselves out." I think the movie was trying to say that we, as humans, don't understand our purpose, and once we do understand, it'll make us wanna kill ourselvs, like the dude wanted to kill himself in the movie.

I was at a first aid training thing, and it was really boring, and there was this Pi poster on my left that I couldn't stop looking at... This is one of the best films i've seen in a loong time! The great thing about it is that i discovered it accidentally, as i was zapping my TV at 3 am. in the night! I also want to point out that the soundtrack of this movie is a real masterpiece. The electronic, especially drum and base twist of the music fits perfectly with the situations! I loved the camera work too' nice chosen filming angles wich give the movie a very natural look.

This film is a masterpiece. It doesn't need any special effects, not even colourful shots to amaze the viewers. The plot is brilliant and the scenes are so strong that makes you feel exactly what the characters go through. It is an illusion, a dream, a thriller... I just love it, the first time I saw it I couldn't even move from my seat...

I remember see this movie long ago just after it come out on DVD. I was caught of guard with the music, I did not expect that judging from the depressing black-white claustrophobic look of the film. I really liked it, especially this music video, which was on the DVD I recall. I need to look for the soundtrack if they have any, I recalling looking for a Soundtrack CD for about a year afterwards but couldn't find one. fortunately one can get it from Amazon now.

Haha, there is a reason calculators know pi out to many more digits than that... because it is just stupid to actually know this many digits of pi. How about to remember some scientific constants? I have never seen a bigger waste of time. Why do people insist on knowing pi out that many digits? If you know how to derive pi you can constantly divide as long as you want without having to actually memorize that shit. And she looked so proud of herself for doing something so pointless.

@avidmoviefan very interesting observation. i had initially agreed with you. then, checking out the lyrics, i've noticed that she does not say that 'the numbers run in circle', but that 'they run him in circle'. the circle (related to the idea of infinity) is considered as the figure of perfection and balance. so, my guess, is that the calculation of uneven numbers can make you 'trascending' and put you in a place of intellectual balance.

This is a love song. A love of intellectual and higher understanding type. Kate Bush is one of the very few singers who does not sing only about 'I-love-yous', 'I-want-yous' or 'i-suffer-so-much-now-that-you-cheated-on-mes' stuff. This song is deeply original and truly inspirational!

This series were cute. The stories were always half crazy and funny otherwise half human minded with some deeper, more serious message but never stupid like the actual ones. this is one of the best things on you tube i love it helped me on my exams as we needed to resite the first 25 digets of pi hard so i started singing my results were 100% on the noncalculator section top of grade 10 and the rest of the school. thanks im not a nerd im just out side the box smart.and i enjoy sport yer loved it

For our grade 5 graduation I'm bringing a pi cake, or pie I don't know which to pick. Cause pie is funnier but not everyone likes ever flavaor, where as cake is different.
