An alliance mate the other day (and the rest of us) learned a valuable lesson on keeping those traps built while your walls are being spammed. We rein'd a city with 800k archers, guy spammed the walls, got rid of all traps and abatis, and 100k phracts wiped the entire rein in one hit.

Would probably have been more informative if you'd broken down what reinforcements would be needed as well as showing off your army. Alliances are the backbone of surviving a major attack. STILL trying to lose the 28mil honor from a kill shot attempt.

What if you don't have wall defenses....and they are sending layer wipers? if you still remove some of the layers....will it hurt your army alot?

This is a good defense but running a compact defense is way better no need to close gates on scout bombs because the scout dont target your archers a 100k archer rainbow wont kill much at all heavy layers are not need just swords and archers

@pebble37lifter yes i had corselet on, but it would make no difference. The trick is manipulating the battle sequence, not in the numbers or power of troops.

@ghoststean you can get up to a few billion food per day from npc 10 farming... infact 500mil was quite low for me at that stage lol usually, id farm about 2 to 3bil, trade about half of it, for gold, and then buy wood and iron, to retrain the lost troops, leaving about 1 to 1.5 billion food gain, per day
