Curing Malaria won't solve their gun violence, civil unrest, or lack of credible governing system. I had my dentist once tell me that the radiation level from her X-Ray was no more than direct exposure to sunlight. This does't make sense to me; why would they ever have to leave the room then? I know over exposure to UV Rays can cause the genetic mutations know as skin cancer, but they don't permeate the body to cause other forms of internal cancers. And the amount of X-Ray radiation that reaches us from the sun is minimal at best. So why does the dentist leave the room?

@jojo808 I do not have the solution, but I would suggest a strong set of laws around personal responsibility, and recourse for breaking the laws. Example: deregulate medical pills, but put it on the responsibility of the doctor to prescribe the correct medication. Failure that has adverse effects, the government can work on behalf of the people to get either compensation or close the business down. Just my thoughts to let people explore possibilities but still have protection.

And how people spend their money isn't a problem with capitalism, it is a fault with the values of society. The other thing is that I personally represent green products, and it is amazing how 50 cent difference on a 20 dollar item will cause someone to not buy. Just like people won't dish out extra money for local goods, people are too money oriented to care about other things, and personally I think it is the school system that does that.

So no matter how often you go to the doctor or receive treatment, you pay basically the same. In spite of that, most medical insurances stimulate / reward you for taking regular check-ups (one in two years after 35 years of age). This is the first GOOD video I see that is full of crap! Most of this is just wrong or unreal. Who gets to do preventative medicine, get random test and talk to a doctor for one hour? I really and honestly can't understand why someone would be against vaccines. I mean, I'd rather get a vaccine than go hygiene crazy and use hand-sanitizer every half-hour. If you are low on the social ladder, you'll just stay there. Private schools are absolutely OK, but you have to have a very well functioning public schoos system that really creates equal opportunities based on achievement and intellectual skills, not money.

Im pretty sure they have met all of those kinds of trouble teens and have helped them in a positive way so that even if they dont make dont make the best grades or go to college. Whatever reality they live in, they at least have some tools to getting one step closer to getting out of that situation. They know their lives arent going to be fixed. We keep eliminating art programs because we think we need more time for math, science, etc. when really artistic methods will teach children so much more than an extra 10 minutes of math class will. Variety and the blending of multiple disciplines breeds faster learning. Musicians are often very mathematically minded, for example - the two complement one another. Great report.

@prayfortruejustice cancer has many causes besides food. food isnt the cause of nor the cure for all cancers/ diseases. think of HIV and other STI's, genetic diseases, lung disease. diet and exercise r very important, and oft underrated, but neither would help u in any of those cases above, nor with most (if not all) cancers. food cannot replace meds, and nutritionists cant replace MD's.

I decided NOT to take the med - and changed my diet - now my triglycerides are too low. Most people have no clue what plants and food can do for them and how certain natural substances that can't be patented can work better than prescription drugs.

@VivekRajcoomar Perhaps the question is ... what triggered the cancer to begin with. Food is medicine or poison. I would probably see a oncologist or MD to discuss options if I have cancer. But I know 2 people who decided NOT to take the slice and dice option and last time I talked to them - they still appeared to be alive. Both took alternative approaches.

Whatever, dude. When I was in high school, I had an inguinal hernia. Well, when i got it all gerrymandered back in place, I totally woke up before I was supposed to. I doubt that this dude would have let it happen, nor was I still open, but I did have the breathing tube down my windpipe, and I did panic (my reasoning skills were apparently still anesthetized) and I did try to rip the tube out which could have hurt me, especially if my windpipe was numb. If the treadmill didn't offer resistance (think of a slippery carpet.) then there would be a weight balance problem since you aren't moving forward. However, if you push back hard on the treadmill, you shouldn't be able to make it accelerate so this is not the case and those saying that the treadmill and outside dynamics are the same are essentially correct. However, there are definitely differences in the softness of the ground etc that make running on a treadmill different.

Ok I think we're getting closer to a consensus. The thing is, in the outdoor case, the track is a part of the world around. Relative to the track=relative to the world. This being said, it will be easier to refer to the track only. In the treadmill case, the track is seperate from everything around (the world doesn't move with the track). Again, let's seperate those things and refer only to the track also in the treadmill case. We don't need the world anymore;) Any Eureka!'s yet, Hejzwej?:)

I get your point, but in this case when you run outside there "is" a world. When you run on the track at speed v, you have to run twice as fast to get forward at speed v (in relation to the world) when the track starts rolling back at speed v. So the issue with a treadmill is that if you run at speed v on a track that rolls back at speed v you won't get anywhere in relation to the world which means you don't have to shift the center of your weight.

If you would move your center of weight forward when running on a treadmill you would tumble forward. As long as YOUR mass is going forward in relation to the WORLD (NOT the ground) you will have to shift the center of the weight, not on the treadmill because the treadmill's "ground" is going backward in the same speed as you're going forward (in relation to the "ground" of the treadmill), that prevents you from going forward in relation to the world.
