i cannot feel bad for a race that upholds its own needs above the needs of every other living organism i cannot feel for a race who after suffering a event such as Hurricane Catrina foolishly decides to rebuild a city just miles away from where it hit. do we not stop to think just once and ask ourselves wtf are we doing of course not because thats depressing and depression is unhealthy. it gets in the way of happyness, it gets in the way of hope, they deserve it we deserve it death is our gift
By: SanguinaryPhilosophy. on 06 Sep 10, 20:38:20
@SuperDan53 that may be the reason, however i beleive that the deaths of people may do more good than saving them. think about it we have become consumed with self preservation out of our fear of death, the unknown, of becomming old, of losing our looks. we have ecome so obsessed with living longer lives and preserving the lives of the dying that we have forgotten how to live we are growing at an alarming rate with each life saved thousands more become doomed we must learn to halt our growth
By: SuperDan53. on 04 Sep 10, 21:45:13
@SanguinaryPhilosophy I'm the same, we don't feel anything about it because we don't know these children nor have we been in that position, therefore we cannot empathise.

These facts are only true for pockets of shanty towns. Throwing resources at this kind of situation is like throwing it down a drain anyway. Do they know what a polythene pipe is yet there?
